On a corner of a field, tucked between woods to the West, and a growing red pine section, a little meadow runs up to the edge of the trees. I love this spot. It has a sheltered feeling, but also enables me a place to sit and work. This little painting captures the energy of the different trees - tone, color, and paint puddling makes for a composition of form that has its own voice.
